Eyebrow Lamination Expert System «BROW FixUP» Step 2 Airless Bottle

How Step 1 works:

– Due to the mild alkaliser ethanolamine, which is one of the ingredients, the solution opens the cuticle scales and has a softer effect on the hairs than traditional ammonium thioglycolate;

– The innovative restructuring agent cysteamine hydrochloride carefully remodels disulphide bonds and sets the eyebrow hairs in place;

– The nourishing keratin-based complex protects the protein structures of the eyebrow hairs during the lamination procedure, whilst urea, the component of the natural moisturising factor, retains the necessary moisture and protects the hairs from dryness and damage.

NOTE! Over time Step 1 can have a yellowish colour because of cysteamine hydrochloride peculiarities. The presence of a sulphur odour is also acceptable.

How Step 2 works:

– It restores the disulphide bonds of the hairs and protects them from damage;

– It sets the eyebrow hair shape, restoring the natural рН of the hairs;

– It closes the hair cuticle scales, neutralising the excess alkaliser;

– Step 2 is enriched with a nourishing complex based on cationic and wetting agents, which has a conditioning effect on the hairs and adds shine, leaving the skin feeling smooth.

NOTE! It is highly recommended to consult an ÉLAN professional line brand technologist before performing the eyebrow lamination procedure.

1. Analyse the eyebrow hair condition of a client

Specify the processing time of the eyebrow lamination solutions according to the instructions below:

• 1st type: the eyebrow hairs are thick and spiky, not having undergone chemical procedures earlier (the eyebrow tinting or bleaching procedures) – processing time is 12-15 minutes;
• 2nd type: the eyebrow hairs are of medium thickness, and are natural and healthy, having undergone chemical procedures earlier (the eyebrow tinting or bleaching procedures) – processing time is 6-12 minutes.

2. Prepare the eyebrows for the lamination procedure

Use « ÉLAN professional line cleansing Detox-Mousse for eyebrows and eyelashes with antibacterial effect» for the skin and hair degreasing before the eyebrow lamination procedure.

3. Create the eyebrow shape (Step 1)

1) Apply a thin layer of the argan oil cream by TM ÉLAN professional line to the eyebrows, and a thicker layer to the skin around the eyebrows. It is recommended to use the professional make-up brush BLACKWOOD #4 by TM ÉLAN professional line.

2) Apply Step 1 to the eyebrows. The processing time is 6-15 minutes. It is recommended to use the professional make-up brush BLACKWOOD #3 by TM ÉLAN professional line.

3) Cover the eyebrow area carefully with the special plastic film to enhance the solution effect. The processing time is 3-15 minutes. When the processing time is finished, remove the film and brush the hairs carefully, setting them in the right direction. Check the hair condition. Cover the eyebrow area with the film again and leave it to develop for 3-5 minutes, if needed.

NOTE! The maximum processing time should not exceed the processing time for the selected eyebrow hair type.

4) When the processing time is finished, remove the excess solution using a cotton pad moistened with water.

NOTE! It is important to take into consideration the eyebrow hair growth direction when creating the eyebrow shape. The eyebrow shape changes should be smooth in order to avoid folding of the hairs.

4. Fix the eyebrow hair direction (Step 2)

1) Apply a thin layer of the argan oil cream by TM ÉLAN professional line to the eyebrows, and a thicker layer to the skin around the eyebrows. It is recommended to use the professional make-up brush BLACKWOOD #4 by TM ÉLAN professional line.

2) Apply and spread Step 2 on the eyebrows, setting the hairs carefully in the right direction.

NOTE! The amount of solution used at the 4th stage of the eyebrow lamination procedure should be equal to the amount of solution used at the 3rd stage of creating the eyebrow shape.

3) Cover the eyebrow area carefully with the special plastic film to enhance the solution effect.

NOTE! The processing time at the 4th stage should be equal to the processing time at the 3rd stage of creating the eyebrow shape. It is not permitted to reduce the processing time.

4) When the processing time is finished, remove the excess solution using a cotton pad moistened with water.

5) Apply «ÉLAN professional line Cleansing Detox-Mousse for eyebrows and eyelashes with antibacterial effect» to the eyebrows to stop the chemical reaction. Remove foam using a cotton pad moistened with water.

6) Use «ÉLAN professional line COLOUR FIX: colour-fixing fluid for eyebrows and eyelashes with keratin and sunflower seed oil» for better results, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is not planned, when the lamination procedure is finished.

7) Apply the tinting mixture immediately after using «ÉLAN professional line cleansing Detox-Mousse for eyebrows and eyelashes with antibacterial effect», if the eyebrow tinting procedure is planned, when the lamination procedure is finished.

NOTE! It is necessary to take into consideration that the eyebrow hair colour is supposed to be brighter and appear faster on the hairs when the eyebrow tinting procedure is performed.

8) Use «ÉLAN professional line COLOUR FIX: colour-fixing fluid for eyebrows and eyelashes with keratin and sunflower seed oil» for better results after the eyebrow tinting procedure.

NOTE! The eyebrow shaping must be performed only when the eyebrow lamination procedure is finished. It is highly recommended to use the eyebrow tweezers in order to avoid serious skin damage.
